SCT is easy to disperse in hot and cold water, not easy to foam, and can provide good rheological properties and thickening effect in water. SCT's unique sheet structure can provide stable rheological curve, good suspension and yield value, and can effectively improve the low shear viscosity of the system. It can be used as the main thickener or as a synergistic thickener to obtain excellent rheological properties. It can provide excellent storage stability and can opening effect when applied to the formulation of waterborne coatings, and provide good construction performance.
 SCT belongs to aqueous phase thickening, and has good compatibility and synergistic effect when used with HEC, alkali swelling Acrylic Acid Thickener and polyurethane rheological agent. It can be used in architectural coatings, water-based industrial paint, mortar, putty, ink, pesticide and pigment concentrate slurry and other water-based systems.

3、 How to use it
It can be directly added to dry powder, or can be pretreated into gel.

When adding directly, SCT should be added first when dispersing (when adding dry powder, attention should be paid to the speed of adding, it should be evenly and slowly sprinkled into the water under the stirring state, and it should not be put into the water quickly to prevent caking) In the water, it is dispersed at high speed until the liquid becomes gelatinized (dispersing time is about 10-15 minutes). Then other materials (auxiliaries, pigments, resins, etc.) are added in regular order. SCT does not need minimum activation temperature and is not sensitive to heat during the dispersion process. As long as it is fully sheared, SCT will form the best gel state and play a favorable rheological property. If neutralizer is added, it should be added directly. Put it into the water dispersion of SCT and keep high shear for 5-10 minutes.

When the gel is pretreated, the SCT will be dispersed in water at high speed and the pre gel concentration can reach 2-3%. It is suggested to add bactericidal preservatives in the pre gel. If only the equipment with relatively low shear force is used, the pre gel should be put overnight to prevent incomplete activation.

This product should be sealed, placed in a cool, dry and ventilated place, pay attention to moisture-proof, storage period is 12 months.
